Emma Steinkellner

Emma Steinkellner is an illustrator, cartoonist, and writer working in comics and animation based in Los Angeles, CA. 

Steinkellner is the author and illustrator of middle grade graphic novels including The Okay Witch series, the Nell of Gumbling series, and Last Day Pool Party.

She has illustrated webcomics including the Eisner-nominated Quince (creator- Sebastian Kaedlecik, writer- Kit Steinkellner). And while studying at Stanford University, she created the comic strip Pow! Slam! Sparkle!, featured in The Stanford Daily).

When she isn’t writing and drawing, she loves writing and drawing (ha ha), taking long walks with her partner Matt, watching movies with her movie club, laughing, and– on occasion– crying!
